This quartet from San Pedro, formed in 2016, has established itself as an essential force on the post-grunge, punk, and alternative rock scenes. A tightly knit band, Cosmic Kitten creates a harmonious blend of raw ’90s grunge and modern rock energy. They have released five studio albums, including Laugh of a Lifetime, mastered by the legendary Jack Endino, producer of Nirvana’s Bleach album.

Karen Marie, on guitar and vocals, takes the listener on an intense emotional journey, with a voice that shifts between softness and introspection and powerful, ferocious screams, all supported by saturated, shimmering guitar riffs. Zach Huckabee is the driving force behind the band’s explosive energy, bringing precision and aggression to the drums with an unparalleled groove and intensity. Jay Vesper delivers dynamic, fluid bass lines that anchor the music with precision, while John Chavez, on rhythm guitar, adds heavy riffs that hit the audience head-on.
