Dogmeat is a metal/nu core band formed in Neufchâteau in 1997. The band released four EPs, which allowed them to tour throughout Wallonia, playing festivals and venues such as Dour Festival, Ward’In Rock Festival, Durbuy Rock Festival, Nuits de l’Entrepôt, Autumn Rock, Botanique, and Entrepôt, alongside many internationally renowned bands.

2022 marked the band’s 25th anniversary, and Dogmeat decided to reform with three original members and two new musicians after a hiatus of almost 15 years! A new three-track EP, REBORN, was released on January 10, 2024, and the band returned to the stage for a series of energetic and positively received dates!

Since this EP, the band has had the opportunity to perform at the Durbuy Rock Festival, the Botanique, and the Guerre des Gaules, among others, and has opened for bands like Ill Nino, Sidilarsen, and Babylon Pression throughout Wallonia and France.

2025 marks the arrival of a second guitarist and the preparation of a new album, which will be available in 2026. Harder, darker, but still with the melodic touch that has defined the band’s style. A great way to prepare for the 30th anniversary year, which is already shaping up to be epic!
