HAWXX writes songs about feminist resistance, the fight against oppressive beauty standards, violence against women and queer people, the ongoing ecological catastrophe, and about being a small sensitive soul but also a Northern gremlin.
HAWXX’s goal is to help transform the rock and metal scene, and both Hannah and Annouli have been named by Metal Hammer as guitarists most likely to change the world.
Their debut album, “Earth, Spit, Blood and Bones”, was nominated for Album of the Year by Metal Hammer.
