Hope as a Weapon is a musical project that transcends genre boundaries, blending influences from modern alternative metal (Bad Omens, Sleep Token, Bring Me the Horizon) with vocals and melodies more akin to alternative rock and nu-metal, in order to deliver music that is both diverse and energetic while remaining accessible.

After less than a year of existence, Hope as a Weapon was selected for — and won — the Durbuy Rock Festival band contest in October 2025.

The release of the band’s first EP, Mannazium, whose first three singles have already been broadcast on Classic 21 and accumulated nearly 20,000 streams in six months, is scheduled for November 19, 2025.

“In a world dominated by fear, hatred, and chaos, we met the Seeker. Through an initiatory journey, he taught us to find and collect Mannazium, an ancient and forgotten element, and to infuse it into songs blending modern metal, neo-metal, and alternative rock. This unique mixture, energetic yet accessible, allows us to transmit this Mannazium in order to restore balance and build together the foundations of a fairer world.”
