March 2020, The world is going into lockdown due to the Covid pandemic. The artistic life is frozen. Stunned by these events, it’s during this disturbing historic event that DropDead Chaos will be born.

Starting as a musicien collective taken from the French/International rock & metal scene, this musical entity quickly found themselves in front of the evidence that they wanted to become a real band.

DDC is: Boris (Betraying The Martyrs), Jacou (Black Bomb A), Raf (Tank), Baptiste (Smash Hit Combo), Nils (Sirenia), Déhà (Wolvennest) and Renato (Trepalium, Les Tambours Du Bronx) DropDead Chaos released 3 singles over 8 months with the help of HK, producer at Vamacara Studio who worked with artists such as: Loudblast, Bukowski, Black Bomb A, Sirenia, Sinsaenum, Les Tambours Du Bronx, Dagoba, Betraying The Martyrs and more…
In April 2020, in order to help the hospital staff the band released their 1st single “Black Thoughts” ( all funds were given to La Fondation De France), following 2nd title “Save Yourself” in June and “Humans” in November 2020.

DropDead Chaos’s music as quickly reached a lot of people including the medias who participated massively in sharing the initiative to help the French hospitals. This music has an unifying message which holds hope and resilience in front of challenging events.
Taking it’s core inspiration from the 90’s and 20’s Alternative Metal, DropDead Chaos is also including each members various musical background with a modern approach to their music.
It’s this alchemy between this musicians, so different and so close at the same time, which gives DropDead Chaos a strong and unique musical entity.

Following the 3 singles the will of giving DropDead Chaos a strong identity is here. That’s when the 7 members and their producer started to write an entire album.
Even if the 10 tracks composing the album are written remotely, the band and HK will be meeting in summer 2021 at the Vamacara Studio to record the entire album (the 3 singles already out has also been re recorded during the session).
At the end this alternative metal album is powerful and emotional with a lush production.
With the 1st track “Underneath The Sound”, which starts nearly as an A Cappella then slowly building up before reaching it’s climax, DropDead Chaos demonstrate that it’s not only an All Star band but a real metal band with a strong musical identity.
The songs are passing by and the band manages to go from “One Last Encore” with it’s anthemic metal chorus to a more HipHop approach with “What I’ve Learnt”
The album ends with “Rainman” which could synthesise DropDead Chaos’s sound.
The instruments are heavy and Renato’s and Déhà’s vocal mix is perfect to give us a breathtaking grand finale to this album.

“Breathtaking” is also a word which can describe their explosive live concerts. In 2022 the band did it’s 1st selected gigs where the fans and medias were unanimous about DropDead Chaos being a massive positive energy shot live. A machine ready to go on the road after being coached by Stephane Buriez from Loudblast on the live production side.
DropDead Chaos has also been happily surprised to see the Altar Stage at Hellfest 2022 packed on a Saturday morning at 10.30am for their 3rd gig.
The 2023 tour is shaping up to be a banger and you don’t wanna miss it.
