Nemode was born beneath a daycare in Brussels, literally. In an improvised studio, the project grew out of a ten-year friendship between drummer Nina and guitarist Furyo. What started as making music without rules evolved into a band that weaves chaos and vulnerability together.

The duo blends the intensity of heavy music with saturated hyperpop melodies. Nemode writes songs about inner conflicts, existential doubt and emotional dependency, approached with a pop songwriter’s instinct: direct, melodic and confrontational. Their sound sits somewhere between metalcore influences like Linkin Park, Bring Me The Horizon and Bad Omens, and the digital, chaotic energy of artists such as 2hollis, Gunnr and Skrillex.

Nemode consists of 22-year-old drummer and vocalist Nina Moragues and 25-year-old producer, guitarist and vocalist Furyo. Following the release of their debut EP Fix, the duo quickly stood out through explosive live performances. They played festivals such as Suikerrock and recently won the final of Sound Track 2025 in Brussels, earning them a performance in the Main Hall of Ancienne Belgique, a clear sign of their growing impact within Brussels’ alternative underground.

After their victory at the AB, Nemode is currently preparing the release of their new EP Tragic Pink!. The project explores the complexity of toxic relationships and inner struggles with codependency. With catchy songs, a more explosive artistic direction, and an aesthetic combining explosive shades of pink with darkness, Nemode is set to open a new chapter in 2026.
