The Booze Brothers were born in 1999, at the dawn of a new millennium.

The group then brought together artists of traditional Irish music as well as members of Punk Rock groups from Toulouse and the Pyrenees.

It is from this improbable mix of diverse and varied musical origins and influences that the unique and universal style of the Booze Brothers will be born: from 90’s Punk Rock to Celtic sauce!

Violins, Bodhràn, accordions and other flutes mingle with electric guitars and supersonic rhythms creating ultra-energetic, playful and tribal music. And this, although the texts (in English, French or even Occitan), are meaningful, carrying strong and committed messages.

From the first concerts in Irish pubs to the many stages of rock and folk festivals, the Booze Brothers have traveled all over Europe to deliver their Celtic rock to the ever-growing number of fans, aged 7 to 69. Whether in squats or on more prestigious stages alongside Gogol Bordello, Exploited or Millencollin, the pleasure of playing and above all of sharing with the public is intact. Stage group par excellence, the Booze Brothers have put all their ardor into four studio albums and a DVD of lives filmed from 2002 to 2014. In 2018, the group surrounded itself with a team of professionals to produce the album celebrating their 20-year career: “The Lemming Experience”.

Far from being a best of, this album contains 10 very personal tracks with “Irish Trad Punk” sounds (inspired by talented artists such as Flogging Molly, Real McKenzies or Dropkick Murphys), ranging from ballads to metal and more. by Punk Rock, or even Ska.
