If there had to be a highlight for this 29th edition of DRF, look no further than Lord Of The Lost! The band, led by the charismatic Chris Harms, has established itself since 2007 as a major force in modern gothic metal thanks to a precise blend of massive riffs, industrial production, and a dark, brooding atmosphere. If you’re not yet a LOTL fan, you’ve surely heard their brilliant work. They are regular opening acts for Iron Maiden on their European tours and recently represented Germany at Eurovision in 2023 with “Blood & Glitter.” They’re also giving us a Belgian exclusive throughout 2026—thank you!
At the end of 2025, Lord Of The Lost continues to delight us with an ambitious triptych: Opvs Noir Vol. Volumes 1 & 2. Dark and captivating, both albums feature numerous guest appearances, and Volume 3 is due out on April 10th! Fans of Within Temptations, Feuerschwanz, and Infected Rain, it’s time to give them a listen if you haven’t already. With a show that hurtles along at breakneck speed like a race car on the Autobahn, the Lords are sure to keep us on track for the final concert of this Durbuy Rock Festival.
