Today, we come back with a Belgian rising band : RÄUM!
We discovered them last year during the springboards of the 26th edition and they struck us with a big, fairly raw post-black sound. So, we don’t hesitate to offer them to you with the rest of the very heavy Friday line up!
Durbuy Rock Festival is the good place to discover new bands. Fans of Xandria and Delain, be ready to be astonished by the french rising band ODC ! They will be present on friday. Namur’s show last saturday proved they can set the stage on fire !
We stop everything! We’re adding a name to the next Durbuy Rock Festival! Xandria will be present on Friday the 10th! 🤘
Currently on tour with Delain, they will reunite with their bandmates for their first visit to the DRF!
Symphonic metal fans will be delighted, and so will we! 😁
We still have some names to announce and today, we are delighted to announce the arrival of Candlemass at the Durbuy Rock Festival!
Since their performance in 2019, and a show focused on the band’s first album “Epicus Doomicus Metallicus” (1986), Candlemass have set about offering us the much appreciated “Sweet Evil Sun” (2022). We might as well tell you that we can’t wait to discover this latest nugget in Durbuy.
With nearly 40 years of experience serving Doom, Candlemass is going to hit hard at the Durbuy Rock Festival!
We still have names in reserve for the 27th edition and it’s Tardigrad’s turn!
Discovered thanks to the springboards of the Durbuy Rock Festival, Tardigrad knew how to tame the stage as well as the crowd at Sassin. Their sound is always stronger and we are delighted to welcome them again to make noise in Durbuy!
Delain makes his return to the DRF!
Today, placed alongside the other big names in symphonic metal, Delain needs no introduction! Since their previous visit to DRF, we will note the release of their new album “Dark Waters” but especially the change in line up with the arrival of Diana Leah on vocals continuing to evolve the DNA of the group.
We can’t wait to share the 2024 version of Delain with you!
The Raven Age spreads its wings on Durbuy Rock!
With already 4 albums to its credit, The Raven Age is part of this new modern metal scene of which our English friends have the secret. The sound of the latest “Blood Omen (2023)” is described by Kerrang as an equivalent of The Architect coming out of a training camp run by Iron Maiden. And that’s hardly surprising, given the band’s relative youth and the fact that guitarist George Harris’ father is Maiden’s mastermind, Steve.
After conquering Kavka, the furious quintet returns to Belgium for a second date and it will take place at the Durbuy Rock Festival!
Finland is present in force this year with another legendary group. And what a name! Amorphis has been delivering their art to death/doom fans in Europe and the world since 1990 and they don’t seem ready to stop!
After a visit to Belgium last summer at the Alcatraz and a European tour in progress, but without a Belgian date, Amorphis is preparing to shake the walls of the Durbuy Rock Festival!
